These Excela-Flo™ second stage regulators are used to reduce outlet pressures from first stage regulators (normally 10 PSI) to 11” WC in domestic installations. All MEC second stage regulators are green indicating low outlet pressure. Second stage full size regulator vents have 3/4”FNPT tapped ports and our exclusive E-Zgrip screens located over the inlet. All MEC second stage domestic regulators feature a stainless steel inlet filter screen to reduce debris from passing through the regulator. Both the MEGR-1622 and the MEGR1652 Series offer optimal relief performance that exceeds UL test requirements providing double failure overpressure protection (no more than 2 PSI downstream pressure) when used with MEGR-1122H and MEGR-1622H Series First Stage regulators.
